Aberaeron Harbour – A steepish shingle beach
Aberaeron North – Steep shingle and Sand beach, more sand at low tide
Aberaeron South – Steep shingle and sand beach, more sand at low tide.
Aberarth – Shingle beach, waves quite good for surfing
Aberporth – A nice sandy beach, nice for children.
Aberystwyth Harbour - The harbour is situated at the south end of town and fed by the rivers Ystwyth and Rheidol.
Aberystwyth North – Mostly grit and shingle according to the tides.
Aberystwyth South – A sheltered sand and shingle beach between the castle and harbour breakwater
Borth - A sand and shingle beach stretching nearly 3 miles towards Ynyslas.
Cilborth – A secluded sandy beach north of Llangrannog, accessed by steep steps
Clarach South - A sand and shingle beach north of Aberystwyth
Clarach North – A sand and shingle beach south of Borth
Cwmtydu – A shingle beach with sand exposed at low tide between Newquay and Llangrannog. Look out for dolphins and seals late summer
Gilfach yr Halen – A stone and shingle beach south of Aberaeron
Gwbert-on-Sea – A sand and rock beach near Cardigan
Little Quay – A sand and shingle beach near Newquay. Look out for dolphins
Llangrannog – A sheltered sandy beach. At low tide, you can walk to Cilborth beach
Llanina – a sandy beach near Newquay, with a sheltered western end. Look out for dolphins
Llanon – A pebble and stone beach with sand exposed at low tide situated between Aberaeron and Aberystwyth
Llanrhystyd – A sandy shallow beach with a pebble bank. North of Aberaeron and nine miles south of Aberystwyth
Llansantffraid – A pebble and shingle beach near Aberaeron.
Morfa Bychan - A sandy beach near Porthmadog
Mwnt – A sheltered sandy beach owned by The National Trust. Very steep steps, look out for dolphins etc.
New Quay North - A sand and rock beach north west of the harbour. One of the best places for viewing dolphins.
New Quay South - A sandy beach, good viewing for do;phins and seals at the end of the quay
Penbryn – A lovely sandy beach almost a mile long, 9 miles north of Cardigan. Look out for dolphins and seals.
Tresaith – A large sandy beach near Aberporth
Ynyslas Northern Groyne – A shingle and sand beach near Borth
Ynyslas Twyni Bach – A sandy beach near Aberdovey
